It offers a background for professional presentation of young artists who can be either students, post-graduate researchers, or recent alumni. The main mission of The FaVU Gallery consists in presenting excellent outcomes within visual art, audio-visual art or sound art, in promoting promising artists, and in actively participating in the cultural life of the city, the region, and Czech society.

SECURITY GARDEN

5th April – 26th April 2017

The exhibition takes the viewer through different issues of security, protection, and control, all of which are applied by power. Both viewers and the artists are in an unequal position towards the impenetrability of private and state power. Despite of this, it is essential to be aware of this position and test its limits and possibilities as every garden has its rear door.
