Quality Assessment

The Faculty of Fine Arts (FFA) of Brno University of Technology (BUT) is a long-standing member of the international organization ELIA (www.elia-artschools.org) and the Association of Art Faculties of the Czech Republic, which the FFA co-founded at the end of 2016. Since 2023, the faculty has been a member of the Brno Game Cluster and also one of the partners of academic institutions in the field of audiovisual arts. The FFA underwent external international evaluation in 2007 (ELIA) and in 2019 (EQ-Arts). In 2018, the faculty was a co-researcher of the Centralised Development Project of the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports aimed at Strengthening Mechanisms Necessary for Self-Evaluation and Accreditation Processes at Art Faculties of Non-Art Public Universities. In 2019, the faculty, together with Academy of Fine Arts in Prague, participated in the Research of the Social, Economic, and Cultural Background of Students of High Art Schools in the Czech Republic. In 2021, the faculty underwent an external investigation mapping the study and working environment with the aim of strengthening internal mechanisms in the area of social safety.
